Leduc Cats Bursary
Established 2025

The Leduc Cats are proud to introduce the Leduc Cats Bursary, created to recognize alumni who have made a positive impact in their communities—whether through school, sports, extracurricular activities, or volunteer work—and are pursuing post-secondary education.

Bursary Details:

• Two $500 bursaries available annually (dependent on number of qualified applicants).
• Open to all former Leduc Cats players, regardless of how long they played.
• Applicants must be in Grade 12 or already graduated, and entering their first year of any post-secondary program (university, college, trade school, etc.).
• Applicants do not need to be currently playing football.

Application Requirements:

• A short personal statement on lessons learned through football and community involvement.
• Two non-family references.
• Application deadline: May 31, 2025
• Recipients will be notified by the end of June.
