U16 Female Tackle Football

Ages: Female players ages 13-15 (Birth years 2009 to 2011)

Season: Regular Season & Playoffs – End of March through Mid-June

Practice: Starting mid-February – Tentative days are Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm

League Games: 1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting end of March or early April)

Fee: $450 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships required)

Volunteer/Fundraising/Equipment Deposit: (Cheques are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled)

Equipment Deposit: $600 equipment deposit cheque post dated July 1, 2024 (bank cashier cheques acceptable)

Fundraising Commitment: $200 fundraising cheque dated July 1, 2024 - initiative TBA

Volunteer Commitment: $200 deposit cheque post dated July 1, 2024 (bank cashier cheques acceptable) - 4 Volunteer Credits (1 Credit represents approximately 2 volunteer hours).

U19 Female Tackle Football

Ages: Female players ages 16-18 (Birth years 2006 to 2008)

Season: Regular Season & Playoffs – End of March through Mid-June

Novice (U9) Flag Football (non-contact)

Ages: Players turning 6-8 in the calendar year (Note - 8 year olds may elect to play Atom Tackle (U11))

Season: August 1, 2024 - October 31, 2024

Practice: 1 per week, Day & Time TBD

Games:  1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting Late August)

Fee: $175 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships required)

Volunteer/Fundraising/Equipment Deposit: Cheques are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled

Equipment Deposit: $150 equipment deposit cheque post dated November 1, 2024 (bank cashier cheques acceptable)

Fundraising Commitment: $200 fundraising cheque dated July 1, 2024 - initiative TBA

Volunteer Commitment: $100 deposit cheque post dated November 1, 2024 (bank cashier cheques acceptable) - 2 Volunteer Credits (1 Credit represents approximately 2 volunteer hours)

Atom (U11) Tackle Football

Ages: Players turning 8-10 in the calendar year (Note - 8 year olds may elect to play Novice Flag (U9))

Season: 

Spring Camp - Late May thru June finishing with Jamboree on TBD

July OFF

Regular Season & Playoffs - August through Mid-November

Practice: Starting early June, 2024: Mondays & Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm

League Games: 1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting Late August)

Fee: $480 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships required)

Volunteer/Fundraising/Equipment Deposit: (Cheques are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled)

Jumpstart

Jumpstart is giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it's the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.

Applicants will need to submit Jumpstart forms online.

What does this look like for those using our program? How does it work now?

  • Families that inquire about Jumpstart will be directed to Jumpstart to apply online during the registration process. During the registration process, in the Payment information section, select “Jumpstart” as the payment type and use the information provided on the registration page to complete the Jumpstart application.
  • Jumpstart applications must include proof of financial need. A clear, legible, and current copy of pages 1 and 2 of your Canada Child Benefit (Statement) will be required as proof of need.
  • Applicants will receive a confirmation of application along with an Jumpstart Application ID.   Enter the Application ID on the registration page to complete the online registration
  • Once Jumpstart approves the application in the system, the family will receive an email confirming approval.
  • Funds will be mailed to LDMFA within 3 weeks from approval date, referencing the submission number

 LDMFA will require that all Jumpstart applicants:

  • During the registration process, apply for the Jumpstart application and provide the Jumpstart Application ID on the registration page.
  • Upon approval of the Jumpstart application, send a confirmation email to registar@catsfootball.ca.
