SPRING PROGRAMS

U16 Female Tackle Football

Ages: Female players ages 13-15 (Birth years 2010 to 2012)

Season: Regular Season & Playoffs – End of March through Mid-June

Practice: Starting mid-February – Tentative days are Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm

League Games: 1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting end of March or early April)

Fee: $480 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships required)

Volunteer/Fundraising/Equipment Deposit: PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) forms are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled

Equipment Deposit: $800 equipment deposit PAD post dated July 1, 2025 (bank cashier cheques acceptable)

Fundraising Commitment: $200 fundraising PAD dated July 1, 2025 - initiative TBA

Volunteer Commitment: $200 deposit PAD post dated July 1, 2025 (bank cashier cheques acceptable) - 4 Volunteer Credits (1 Credit represents approximately 2 volunteer hours).

U19 Female Tackle Football

Ages: Female players ages 16-18 (Birth years 2007 to 2009)

U19 Tackle Football (Formally Midget)

Ages: Players ages 14-18 (Birth years 2007 to 2011 - must be currently in grade 9, 10, 11)

Season: Regular Season & Playoffs – End of March through Mid-May

Practice: Starting mid-February 

League Games: 1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting end of March or early April)

Fee: $625 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships required)

SPRING FLAG - CO-ED
U10, U12, U14, U16

Ages: 
U10:  Players ages 8 - 9 (Birth years 2016 to 2017)
U12:  Players ages 10 - 11 (Birth years 2014 to 2015)
U14:  Players ages 12 - 13 (Birth years 2012 to 2013)
U16:  Players ages 14 - 15 (Birth years 2010 to 2011)

Season: March to Early June

Practice: 2 per week - Dates TBD 

League Games: 1 per week - Saturday or Sunday TBA

Fee: $300 (includes Team Jersey, Short, Flag & LDMFA Fee, League Fees and Football AB Membership)

Volunteer/Fundraising: PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) forms are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled

Fundraising Commitment: $100 fundraising PAD dated July 1, 2025 - initiative TBA

Volunteer Commitment: $100 deposit PAD post dated July 1, 2025 (bank cashier cheques acceptable) - 2 Volunteer Credits (1 Credit represents approximately 2 volunteer hours)

U9 Flag Football (non-contact)

Ages: Players turning 6-8 in the calendar year (Note - 8 year olds may elect to play U11)

Season: August 1, 2025 - October 31, 2025

Practice: 1 -2 days per week, Day & Time TBD

Games:  1 per week on either Saturday or Sunday (starting Late August)

Fee: $300 (includes LDMFA Fee and any League Fees and Football AB Memberships)

Volunteer/Fundraising/Equipment Deposit: PAD (Pre-Authorized Debit) forms are only cashed if return/commitments are not fulfilled

Equipment Deposit: $150 equipment deposit PAD post dated November 1, 2025 (bank cashier cheques acceptable)

Fundraising Commitment: $200 fundraising PAD dated July 1, 2025 - initiative TBA

ABOUT KIDSPORT LEDUC & COUNTY 

We provide grants to help cover the costs of registration fees so that all kids aged 18 and under in Leduc & Leduc County can play a season of sport.

Our chapter accepts applications and administers grants of up to $250 per child/year, for kids who live in Leduc & Leduc County, or in one of the other communities we serve. If you live outside of Leduc or Leduc County, please click on chapter list to find your local chapter.


HOW DO I APPLY?

Email registrar@catsfootball.ca and let us know that you will be applying for KisSport funding. 

  • Apply online or use the paper application form - be sure to complete all sections of the application, as incomplete applications take much longer to process, and can cause delays in receiving your grant.
  • Your completed application will be processed within 30 days of being received. If you qualify for KidSport funding, the grant will be sent directly to the sport program your kid has signed up for.
  • You can submit a paper application by mail, fax or e-mail:  leduc@kidsport.ab.ca

All applications are kept confidential.
